3 regulator before and after the position should be straight pipe section, the length of not less than 10 times the pipe diameter (10D), in order to avoid the valve straight pipe section is too short and affect the flow characteristics;
4. Read the manual before installing valve. The instruction manual introduces the product and the safety precautions and precautions that should be paid attention to before and during installation.
5. Make sure the pipe is clean: Foreign matter in the pipe may damage the sealing surface of the valve or even hinder the movement of the spool, ball or disc, causing the valve to not close properly. To minimize the possibility of hazardous conditions, clean all lines before installing the valve.
Verify that pipe dirt, metal debris, welding slag and other foreign matter have been removed. Also, check pipe flanges to ensure a smooth gasket surface. If valve has threaded end, apply high-grade pipe sealant to male pipe threads. Do not apply sealant to female threads as excess sealant on female threads can be squeezed into body. Excess sealant can cause the spool to jam or build up of dirt, which can cause the valve to not close properly.
6. We carefully check the regulator: before installation, check and remove all transport blocks, plug or gasket surface cover for wafer M butterfly valve protection, check the body inside to ensure there is no foreign matter;
7. The regulating valve should be installed on the horizontal pipeline, and the upper and lower vertical with the pipeline, generally to be supported under the valve, to ensure stable and reliable. For special occasions, when the regulator needs to be installed horizontally in the vertical pipeline, the regulator should also be supported (except for small diameter regulator). Installation, to avoid additional stress to the regulator);
8. Ensure that sufficient space is left above and below the valve to allow easy removal of the actuator or spool during inspection and maintenance. For flanged bodies, make sure the flange faces are properly aligned so that the gasket surfaces make even contact. After the flanges are aligned, tighten the bolts gently, and at best tighten them in a staggered fashion.
