The exhibition is held in Sao Paulo, the largest industrial city in South America, and is the largest and most professional trade show in South America. In 2007, there were more than 250 exhibitors, and more than 10,000 merchants from petroleum, natural gas, electric power, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, food, beverage and other industries came to the meeting to purchase, negotiate and exchange. The exhibition is co-organized by Messe Dusseldorf in Germany and the Brazilian company GrupoCipa. In 2007, 50 people from 23 domestic companies participated in the exhibition, covering an area of 259 square meters. Under the background of international financial crisis, Chinese pipe fitting manufacturers and mechanical equipment suppliers can use this platform to show and launch products, equipment and technology to South America, seek product users, capture project information and consolidate customer relations. In particular, more oil and gas fields have been discovered offshore Brazil. The country has become a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, and the demand for pipe fittings and pipes is expected to grow. Exhibits range of pipe materials, steel pipes, iron pipes, stainless steel pipes, non-ferrous metal pipes, non-metallic pipes, special pipes, pipe fittings, valves, fasteners, as well as the production and processing equipment, manufacturing tools, measuring instruments and so on. The last exhibition attracted 308 companies from 15 countries, with a net exhibition area of 21.2 million square meters. Among them, 249 Exhibitors from Brazil, with a net exhibition area of 12,000 square meters. There are 59 international exhibitors with a net exhibition area of 920 square meters. The number of visitors is 12,000, including 600 from overseas.
